Box Office This Week : Dhoom 3 Break All Previous Opening Record
The much-awaited sequel of Dhoom hit the theatres yesterday and it’s received an amazing response from the audiences
Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif’s Dhoom:3 has finally hit the theatres. And guess what? Dhoom:3 is creating quite a dhoom at the box-office. We hear that the film has broken the opening day records of Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express and Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3! Aamir’s Dhoom:3 has made Rs 33.42 crores (Hindi version) and Rs 36.22 crores total, including the Tamil and Telugu versions. This is the highest ever collection including the records of both holiday and non-holiday releases.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Dhoom 3- All Languages Hindi Rs 33.42 Cr; Tamil & Telugu Rs 2.80 Cr; Total Rs 36.22 Cr.” The highest record for a holiday release was held by Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express which had collected Rs.33.12 crore. Hrithik’s Krrish 3 held the record for highest normal working day release with Rs. 25 crore. Aamir’s Dhoom:3 has surpassed both SRK and Hrithik’s film with Rs. 36.22 crores.
